The first thing I want to do this month is finish DH's sweater. The back is complete, the front very close to complete, one sleeve halfway done. I should make it soon.
After that I feel like machine knitting again, need to look at my planned projects and decide which one is next.

I really try not to have too many projects going at the same time. It makes me get very distracted and nothing gets finished.
Just as I HAVE to clean up my knitting room after each project, clutter makes me uncomfortable.

I finished DH's sweater right on Valentine's Day. He says he likes it, but I already know he will only wear it during real cold days. It is made from Alpaca yarn and warm. So guess what he is wearing on those other days, the OLD one.
The new one turned out nice, I think. I will post pictures in the other thread soon.

Typical male! Well at least you know you did it and he's happy with it.

You all know how this works, right? I finished one fairly big project, it turned out nice and is done, so now it is time for something else.
I really wanted to start on a machine knitting project, something I had in the back of my mind for a good while, but then I came across this other hand knitting pattern that really caught my interest and started hunting for the right yarn, and now I have cast on and am in the middle of it.
My plan is to have a "daytime" machine knitting project and a hand knitting thing for the evenings, but so far the machine just has not beckoned me enough.
Anyway, I am making this, in a different yarn and had to recalculate pretty much everything, so the proportions don't get all out of whack.
Mine is going to be bright blue, not as pale as the picture.

It's a lovely pattern. Should be just right for Spring/early Summer.
