Yes, I did go ahead with that bridal shower gift, and it was not only appreciated, but it was passed around and around again because everyone just thought the cloths were beautiful. I'm so happy that the bride to be loved them, I know she'll enjoy using them.

I think the idea of using the dishcloths as facecloths is a great one! Hmmm, yet another reason to keep knitting these most addicting little squares! Laughing

And Holly, I don't know about sock knitters ruling the world, but if I become addicted to knitting socks like I became addicted to dishcloths I'm going to have to think about growing more hands! Maybe teach my feet to knit, too?! Laughing My sock class begins on Sept. 8 and I can't wait to give 'em a try!

Have a great night, all, "see" you soon.....

I'm so glad your gift was appreciated. And I like your idea of learning to knit w/ your feet. Laughing If only mine were co-ordinated enough to hold the knitting needles!

Lobug, I like you're idea for baby washcloths, too.

My cloths went over very well at the bridal shower--I made a little set of them for the wishing well and included a bottle of detergent with it wrapped up in nice tuling. I got a special thank you note from the bride, she loved them, so I'm really glad that I stuck with my idea. Thanks again, everyone!

Terry
