I did it, I finished my first dishcloth on Thanksgiving. I used the Grandma's Favorite pattern with Peaches & Cream yarn. I started it the night before and was thankful for my accomplishment the day after. Smile I've never knitted with cotton yarn before, and after this, I'm now a convert. I love the stuff. Just one question though, what's the difference between Peaches & Cream and Sugar & Cream? Are they basically the same thing? Thanks

Congratulations on finishing your first dishcloth. As far as I know, they are both 100% cotton yarn. I don't know if there is a guage difference, though.

Congratulations, Nancy!!

The difference is that one has a ply or two of color, and the other is multi-dyed through... But I don't know which is which...

I just compaired two balls of P&C and S&C; they look the same in terms of they dye process and they are both 4 ply. I think they are essentially the same stuff; I have found no difference working with them either. The only difference I've found so far is that P&C costs slightly less.

OH BOY! You finished your "FIRST" dishcloth. I hope you know what that means Rolling Eyes . YOU ARE HOOKED. There's no stopping it now. Too late. Before you know it, you'll be joining DA (dishcloths Anonymous) with the rest of us Laughing . These are the best dishcloths I have ever used. Unfortunately, everyone else will see yours and want some Shocked .

What a good idea to spread out the work. I just see something I like and want to do it RIGHT THEN. Perhaps if I kept a dish cloth going, or a pair of socks, I would have more Christmas gifts finished before the beginning of December!

I think I figured out the difference between S&C and P&C...one is made in the USA, and the other is made in Canada...that was the only difference I could find on my labels... Confused

But, whichever you use, those cloths are really great...

I knitted one for each of the kids and grandkids with "something relevant" on it...and Rat was telling them that they would love them and not want to use the other kind again...who knew he would be paying attention... Laughing
