We've had a few folks start Knit-a-longs and a suggestion was made that we have a section specifically for that purpose.

Here it is....feel free to issue invitations.

Very Happy

Does anyone fancy joining me with this. It's just the thing for this cold weather and it would make it go faster. I'm knitting it for a neighbour. she saaw mine and asked if I'd do one for her but it is very slow going and I could do with a bit of encouragement.

I know it's a short little project, but I'd love to have a knit-a-long with the mitten top gloves, or what my husband lovingly calls "Maybe Mittens"

I'm using a knit picks pattern, but knitty has a good one too. I'm making them in combination with a mobius scarf and a klein bottle hat as part of my mathematical dh's "unplottable" winter gear. I have links if anyone wants them.

Knitty.com has a pattern here while I'm using a pattern I found at knit picks here.

The Mobius scarf is simply seed stitch, using the mobius cast on found here.

Last is the klein bottle hat which one pattern exists here. I'm about half of the way through the scarf now and on the thumb of the first mitten. You're welcome to join me though! I'm using knit picks Wool of the Andes. For the scarf, I'm using 10's on a 60" circ and I'm using 8's on the mittens, though I should have used 9's seeing as how I knit 2 needle sizes tighter than gauge.

Hi there. Thanks for welcome in. I'm not a fast knitting nor do I do lots of fancy stitches, but I'm learning. I think I will join with you in the Mittens for myself. Then I will attemp to do the Mobius Scarf. Wish me luck.

I will check you posted.
