LM is here visiting in Mouseville. She, Nony and Rat went out and played. LM found some royal purple banana yarn and just had to buy enough for a small scarf (or something). Has anyone here used banana yarn before? What did you think of it? Nony checked out some kid/silk yarn and will probably buy some for a future project. LM and Rat checked out the fabrics in several quilting shops. All in all, a nice time was had by The Three Mouses. _________________ Have a mice day. |

I'm glad you had a good time.
I haven't heard of banana yarn before. I hope it knits up nicely. _________________ [url=http://www.TickerFactory.com/counter/w3Fpqgo/]

I have heard of Banana fibre yarn on a website somewhere but don't know anything about it, though I seem to remember they said it was nice and soft.
You'll have to let us know what you think. _________________ Yvonne

it will be interesting to see how you get on with it.
It`s great to experiment with a different yarn, you never really know how it will knit up. |

I am guessing it is not made from the fruit, but some other part of the plant, the leaves? the peel? the bark? Makes one wonder. _________________ Keeping myself in stitches here; http://knancy-knitter.blogspot.com/
