Oh! What a great idea Paula!!! I'm in, I'm in, I'm in!

You can advertise your new blog on this site: http://knitalongs.xaviermusketeer.com/

As for me, I will try to promote it on my blog, not that I have many people reading it, but you never know. Would you like me to make a blog button for the KAL? I'd be happy to, just let me know if you do.

Audrey.....you know about buttons?????

Lori made me two buttons for my birthday and I was too embarrassed to tell her I don't know how to use them. (She has explained that to me many, many times....I can't ask again.)

Holly, I know a little bit about buttons, I made the ones for the Sockamania knitalong. It's not difficult at all. Perhaps your challenge is how to put it on your web site, that I can't really help you with because I only know Blogger and don't know where you want to insert those buttons on the Knitting Haven web site.

Perhaps you could create a new category in the Forum Index and post the images of your buttons in an article so those who want a Knitting Haven button can right-click on them, save them to their computer and insert them into their own blog. Just an idea. Very Happy

Paula, I've created three different buttons. I'll let you pick one or suggest something else if you are not too keen on them (I'm open to suggestions, so don't be shy).

If you like one of them, I'll send you a PM with the Blogger and Wordpress codes. What I did for other knitalongs is that I would send subscribers an e-mail as well as a Blogger invitation, in which I gave them the code to post on their blog template.

We can work it out between us all though and then Lori won't have to know Wink I think Audreys idea is a good starting point, how about doing a post and putting the buttons in, if it doesn't work then we investigate further Smile

Paula, I have a Knitting Haven button on my blog. Perhaps it's mine you saw.

I can't give you the code for the Auntie Knitalong button you picked as I am at my in-laws at the moment. I'll e-mail you tomorrow about that. The button you picked was made using an old Auntie Mame movie poster graphic. I thought it was just too cute Smile
