Would anyone like to join a knit-a-long for this. I'm not ready to start yet. I haven't even got the yarn but it would be nice to have some company when I do

Hadn't really decided. Must finish DIL's shrug first but that's nearly there now. When would suit anyone else?

I've sent for some yarn. I'm going to try the Blue Sky Alpaca Silk in amethyst. How about starting on Feb 1st. Or is that too soon?

I used Blue Sky Alpaca Silk to make a Christmas present, and I loved it - I want to get some for me now! I'm sure you'll like it.

They're out of stock of the amethyst and don't know when they will get any more so I've asked for Peapod instead.

I like the peapod, but had doubts about what it would do to my complexion right there by my face.

I often wear green. I think it suits me. I hope I'm not wrong because I've had an email to say that they have it and it will arrive next week.

My mother thinks I look nice in green and I'm sure she'd say if I didn't. Mothers do, don't they Laughing

That is great, Yvonne. I look forward to seeing yours in such a lovely color, but my complexion will be 'green with envy'. And you are right about mothers; they are used to being blunt to their children.

The only worrying thing about this is that I'm a mother too. Laughing

Yvonne, did we decide on Feb. 1st? I am expecting my yarn any day now, so I guess I am about as ready as I am going to get... Smile But I can wait a week or so, if that is more convenient for other knitters.
