Looking for a little pattern.

Lilly, if you do a simple pattern they really don't take very long. Smile

I think I'm going to try making these for the KAL if someone here with more experience than I have can guide me along. I think I understand all the instructions except the one for "Twisted rib" *K1 tbl, p1* on all rows. I don't understand what that means. Can someone clarify for me? Also, do you think these could be done on circular needles (If so,what length cable?) or would it be better done on DPN's as the pattern says?

*tbl* is 'through the back loop'... Instead of knitting the stitch in the front, you slide your needle into the loop on the left needle as if you were going to slip it and then knit... That twists your stitch.

Hope this helps...

Bonnie I bookmarked those too.

If we don't get the printer sorted before the KAL starts, I will do the cabled fingerless gloves again, the ones that Bonnie had a problem with, and make note of any problems with the pattern.

I can try some 'proper' gloves another time.

Bonnie - those are lovely. I've bookmarked them also. Cool

Yvonne - my printer's not hooked up right now (space issues) so when I need something printed I go to the local library to print a copy. Could you do that?

I'm going to be very busy! I put those in my favorites, too. I'm glad these are pretty quick to knit. Very Happy

GA thank you! You made it easier to understand.

KM I'm glad you think they'll be quick. Hope you're right. Smile

I also found this cowl pattern http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/cables--eyelets-cowl
I thought would be nice with them.

I just made mittens for the kids, at the rate of about one pair every other day. I think the fingerless gloves should be fun!
