March is just around the corner, so it's nearly time for the lace KAL.

Who's knitting what?

I'm going to be knitting Chinook. It's going to be my first attempt using lace weight, so I think it's going to take me a while.

Chinook is beautiful. I didn't find lace weight any problem to work with.

I've not decided yet but it will be either this or this

Not sure if I've quite enough yarn for the triangles one yet.

Those are both pretty. I wish I could get the yarn so I could finish up my Collonade, but it just isn't meant to be I guess. So the Hex shawl from Kitty it most likely will be. I picked up a skein of Noro sock yarn yesterday though and found an interesting shawl that was made just for that yarn.. so now I'm debating. XD

I'm definitely joining, but I'm not sure yet what I will be doing. I will look through some patterns and see what catches my eye.

Marg, the big blue shawl is beautiful.

Everyone's shawl picks are so pretty. Cool

A couple of months ago I ordered Autumn Gold Lace Shawl and it's still waiting for me. Smile

I don't think I'm ready to tackle a shawl yet, but the patterns y'all have chosen are beautiful. I'll be "lurking" on this thread to see them progress. Very Happy

Still undecided about the shawl. Not sure it won't take me a year to finish it.

I am going to do this :

Going to buy the yarn when I go to GA's house in week. Don't know what color I want to do yet. This is my first lace work project and it might go slow.

I am going to attempt one. Will see if I can find a link. It will probably take me a year, but the KAL is open-ended, and the people here so nice that I will be able to keep asking for help, if I need it, without feeling they are all going Rolling Eyes .

Edit: Found a link... http://www.fiber2yarn.com/catalog.php?item=1914 I am going to try to do it in fingering wt. yarn. If my hands have a problem with that, I will try a larger size. So far, a size 6 is still very managable.
