Yesterday I started on the design in the front and also divided for the armholes, finishing front and back separately. I wanted to "stretch" the little motif some but did not like it after about ten rows, so I am going to undo all that today and go on just like the pattern says.

It's a lovely pattern. Looking forward to seeing it finished.

It's still June, I know I am running out of time. Had to unravel the front three times but this time it looks all right. This is definitely taking me longer than I wanted, but life gets in the way of knitting sometimes. I keep working on it and will post pictures when finished.

BeaBea, if it makes you feel any better, I've only just finished something that I started as a KAL on here in March last year.

KALs don't have to mean everybody starting and finishing at the same time, but can just be a source of encouragement.

I guess I didn't realize that June is just about over! Golly, time just seems to get away from me. I am almost finished with my tank top, though.

Thanks Kathryn, I know what you mean, but I still try to stick to my personal goals. Like many of you, in the back of my mind I already have several other projects lined up. Also, I think it would be nice to wear this top during our upcoming trip "up north" to Iowa and South Dakota in about a month. That should give me enough time to finish, ha.

Same here! I've only done about 10 inches; 5 to go before the armhole shaping. Once I get to that it should fly and the sleeves are a very simple pattern. So, maybe by mid-July.......

I'm really, really close to being finished with mine. We were sitting around after supper, and I finished the back, almost without realizing it. The front just needs the straps. Woo-hoo!

Front, back and shoulder seams are done. Also just finished the first sleeve and closed the seam, casting on for second sleeve.

It's done and I love it.
Here is a (sorry, a bit fuzzy) picture of my summer top, made out of Knitpicks Simply Cotton Sport, color is Haze Heather. It fits perfectly and feels very nice. I am so happy it is done and I will get to wear it.
On to the next project.
