This has been rather neglected recently.

Does anybody have any suggestions for a knitalong? We could either choose a specific pattern, or something general (eg shawl) so that people can choose their favourites.

If you have any suggestions, please post them here so that we can discus them. Perhaps we could aim for a decision in mid January, and start at the beginning of February to give people a chance to choose patterns/yarns.

Edited 16th January.

There seems to be some interest in this so I've started a poll. Please vote for your preferred option, and add any comments that you may have.

Small items seem to be best for KALs.

More people seem to be able to fit them in.

So socks, hats, gloves etc. Perhaps a waistcoat/vest if anyone wants.

But if anyone wanted to do a specific pattern several people might join in.

I voted mittens because I need a pair, but I'm up for any other small accessory. I'm finishing a hat today or tomorrow, so I'll be available for a shiny new project Smile

You can count me in. While I don't do socks or mittens I would still love to join.

Perhaps we can make it a "pick your pattern" knitalong if we can't agree on a common project. Just an idea Smile

Or it can be a "hat and/or mitten" project. Laughing

I could do with a pair of mittens with turn back tops. Like these

They look lovely and warm.

I've been considering this.

Yvonne, I love the gloves/mittens. They are exactly what I need!

I also had my eye on the Freja mittens as a Valentine's day themed project. I've never been big on Valentine's, but I just fell in love with the pattern.
